Yeng Keng Hotel Cafe & Bar

March 19, 2014

Hey guys, i'm gonna do a short food review post today. This is gonna be real short as i'm running out of time. So, here's it is. My title says it all. It's a small cafe & bar at this small heritage hotel name Yeng Keng. They have a cafe there and it's open to public. They served Hainanese Food and Western Food.

The ever first dish you must try is the Chicken Pie (3 hours pre-order) RM 40

This dish isn't my favorite, the Char Hor Fun. Im not a Hor Fun person. but it's not bad. You may like it if you're a Hor Fun person. (RM 15)
Jiu Hu Char a.k.a Bangkuang. I love Bangkuang a lot but this dish really seems like they overcooked it. and the color sure isn't the pleasing. (RM 18/28)

Yeng Keng Fried Rice. (RM 12.50) Too Oily for one.
This is the first ever spring roll that is gigantic in size. RM 6/pc
As for the dessert. You must try the Bom Alaska. It's a butter cake inside with ice cream and fuits. And the outer is egg white and they burned them with alcohol. Really weird tasting but it's worth to try. :) RM 40
I rate:
Taste: 6/10 (bad - good)
Price: 3/10 (bad - good)
Service 7/10 (bad - good)
